Darkly mischievous folk and thoroughly unlikely stories.
The Extraordinary Ramble Gamble have been telling tales and singing songs nobody asked for since 2014. Somehow, people keep coming back for more.
Born in the pubs and folk festivals of Lincolnshire, Matt Hercock, Jonny Lavin and Chris Logan bring alternative folk with a dark streak, a mischievous sense of humour and a fondness for a thoroughly unlikely story. Expect cowboys, curious characters and tales of love, loss and the end of the world. Possibly a horse.
Their releases include the Neverender EP (2020), A Western Showcase For The Masses (2022) and The Dark Silhouettes At The End Of The World (2025). Beneath the wonderfully wayward antics lies a band that takes its music seriously, even when it refuses to behave seriously.
A little dark, a little weird and very much a party.
